- On 17 December 2025, LEJCZAK Sarah successfully presented and defended her thesis entitled “Development and validation of a digital tool for self-assessment of cognitive functions: Proof of concept in primary care and specific characteristics of chronic pain patients”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Pierrick Poisbeau and co-supervision of Prof. Julien Nizard, within the Poisbeau team at LNCA.
- On 11 December 2025, BAIRE Simon successfully presented and defended his thesis entitled “Impact of traumatic events and adversity on the aetiology and management of chronic pain through non-pharmacological approaches using hypnosis”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Pierrick Poisbeau and co-supervision of Prof. Cyril tarquinio, within the Poisbeau team at LNCA.
- On 03 October 2025, MAMINO Elisa successfully presented and defended her thesis entitled “Study of the activation properties of tactile sensitivity pathways through nociceptive and non-nociceptive stimulation in humans“, completed under the supervision of Prof. Olivier Després and co-supervision of Prof. André Dufour, within the Dufour team at LNCA.
- On 20 November 2025, MULLER Benjamin successfully presented and defended his thesis entitled “Cellular, anatomical and functional characterisation of the tVTA in the mouse”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Jennifer Kaufling within the Yalcin team at INCI.
- On 07 July 2025, REHO Guillaume successfully presented and defended his thesis entitled “Study of nociception and its modulation in planarians”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Vincent Lelievre and co-supervision of Prof. Hervé Cadiou within the Simonneaux & Cadiou team at INCI.
- In April 2025, GAIKWAD Mithil successfully presented and defended her thesis entitled “Epigenetic mechanisms of depression induced by chronic pain in male and female mice: a systematic bioinformaticinvestigation across sexes and models”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Pierre-Eric Lutz and co-supervision of Prof. Benoit Labonté (Laval University, Canada), within the Yalcin team at INCI.
- On 10 October 2025, BOYER Océane successfully presented and defended her thesis entitled “Involvement of prolactin-releasing peptide and its receptor in the modulation of nociception”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Frédéric Simonin, within the Simonin team at BSC.
- On 01 October 2025, MULLER Claire successfully presented and defended her thesis entitled “Involvement of NPFFR1 and NPFFR2 receptors in the modulation of morphine analgesia and nociception”, completed under the supervision of Prof. Frédéric Simonin, within the Simonin team at BSC.
At the end of this thesis defense, these PhD students have been awarded the title of Doctor in neuroscience; an achievement that illustrates the excellence of EURIDOL's doctoral training and scientific community.
