"Pain in the arts" - The opportunity to better understand the burden of these various painful conditions!

As part of the “PIA - Pain in the Arts” course at the European People's University, first-year master's students in “Interdisciplinary Training in Neuroscience and Pain” had the opportunity to hear testimonials from chronic pain patients and interact with them.  This was an opportunity to better understand the burden of these various painful conditions, which are easily named but often little known, through the patients' own words: migraine, low back pain, endometriosis, sickle cell disease, fibromyalgia, trigeminal neuralgia, and rare painful conditions.

Among the patients were Aziliz, founder of the association Le bien a dit, and Dorys, founder of the Association “de lutte contra la dépanocytose”.

Thank you to all the patients for coming to this event!
