We are pleased to announce that Julia Devanne (PhD), clinical neuropsychologist and postdoctoral researcher with the Life Adversity and Pain team led by Pierrick Poisbeau at the Laboratory of Cognitive and Adaptive Neuroscience (LNCA, CNRS UMR 7364) in Strasbourg, has just published a major article based on her EURIDOL-funded doctoral work.
The article, entitled “Effects of Aging on Pain Tolerance: A Comparative Study of Heat Pain Thresholds and Tonic Heat and Cold Stimuli”, has just been published in the European Journal of Pain (2026, vol. 30, e70180) and explores how aging influences pain tolerance, particularly in response to thermal stimuli.
