As part of the EMPAPREM research project, a neuroscience study is currently being conducted to better understand the links between premature birth, empathy, and cognitive and emotional aspects of pain. We are looking for volunteers to contribute to this scientific research.
Study procedure:
- 1 test session (~3 hours) → Including cognitive tests (attention, inhibition), questionnaires, measures of temperature perception, and a short behavioural task (image judgement) combined with a measurement of brain activity using electroencephalography.
The tests take place at the Centre for Neurocognitive & Neurophysiological Investigations (CI2N) : 21 rue Becquerel, 67200 Schiltigheim
Conditions of participation:
- Be born between 1990 and 2007, at full term or before 7 months of pregnancy (before 32 weeks of gestation).
- Have no neurological, psychiatric or dermatological conditions or disorders (e.g. sensory impairment, ADHD, schizophrenia, etc.)
- Must never have suffered a head injury or stroke.
- Must not use drugs or take medication such as antidepressants, anti-epileptics or sleeping pills.
Compensation: 30€
